The Master Certificate in Advanced Techniques of Internal Family Systems at Stanmore School of Business was a transformative experience for me. As a licensed therapist, I was looking to deepen my understanding of IFS, and this course exceeded all my expectations. The modules on 'Parts Work' and 'Trauma-Informed IFS' were particularly impactful—I now feel equipped to help clients with complex trauma in ways I previously couldn’t. The case studies provided were incredibly realistic, and the instructors’ feedback on my assignments was thorough and constructive. I’ve already applied some of the techniques in my practice, and my clients have reported noticeable improvements in their emotional regulation. Highly recommend this course to any mental health professional serious about mastering IFS!
I took this course to broaden my skill set as a social worker, and it was worth every minute. The focus on 'Self-Leadership' and 'Conflict Resolution within IFS' gave me practical tools to use in my day-to-day work with youth at risk. I especially appreciated the role-playing exercises in the virtual classroom—they helped me practice techniques in a safe environment before applying them in real-life scenarios. The course materials were well-organized, with clear video lectures and downloadable resources. My only critique is that some of the live sessions were scheduled during work hours, making it tricky to attend. Still, the flexibility of the pre-recorded content made up for it. Overall, a fantastic investment for anyone in the helping professions!
This course was a game-changer for my career in counseling. The 'Advanced IFS Techniques for Anxiety and Depression' module gave me a fresh perspective on how to approach these common issues. I was skeptical at first, but the step-by-step breakdown of working with 'protector parts' made everything click. The instructors were knowledgeable and responsive, and the peer discussions in the forums were surprisingly engaging—I even formed a study group with a few classmates from Australia and Canada! The assignments were challenging but rewarding, and I now feel confident integrating IFS into my sessions. If you’re on the fence, just go for it—you won’t regret it!
I loved the structure of this course! The 'IFS for Couples and Families' module was my favorite—I learned how to guide clients through mapping their internal systems and identifying core wounds that affect relationships. The real-life examples from the instructors’ practices were super helpful, and I’ve already started using some of the exercises in my workshops. The platform was easy to navigate, and the support team was quick to resolve any technical issues. My only suggestion would be to include more Latin American case studies, as cultural nuances can really impact the application of IFS. Still, the content was incredibly relevant, and I’ve seen a positive shift in how my clients engage with their own parts. Highly recommend!
